CIIR at the G8
It's nearly 7am on Saturday 2 July, the day of the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY rally in Edinburgh. The CIIR team arrived in the city yesterday and we're now starting our preparations for the day. There's a real buzz about the place. Lots of people with MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY t-shirts, banners, bags... It's going to be kicking off in the Meadows this morning, so we're setting off now to set up the CIIR stall in the campaigns zone.
